Rough Rider Cask Strength The Big Stick is a rye whiskey from New York, bottled at 60.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
It is bottled uncut, at cask strength, and the whiskey is a dark amber colour. Adding plenty of water softens it and lets mellow vanilla, almond and coconut come through.
The nose is a rich caramel, the palate is heavy with wood, and the finish is long, spicy and hot.
