Rowan's Creek Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

Rowan's Creek is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon from Willett Distillery in Bardstown, bottled at 50.05% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It takes its name from the creek that runs through the distillery grounds. The mash bill is 72% corn, 13% rye and 15% malted barley. It is bottled by hand in small batches, with a handwritten batch number on every label, and carries no age statement. The tasting notes describe caramel and vanilla over herbal and floral notes on the nose. The palate is oily, with sweet caramel, vanilla and floral touches, and it finishes dry on oak and lingering spice.
