Royal Brackla 13 Year Old is a Highlands single malt distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2024 by Thompson Bros. at 48.5% in a 70cl bottle. It matured in a refill butt and was bottled in an edition of 727 bottles, without chill filtration or added colour.
On the nose there are pine needles, pepper and liquorice, with hints of wheat beer, fennel seed and curry. The palate is led by fresh lemon and green apple, with kiwi and a spicy edge. The finish brings triple sec and a touch of pastry.
