Royal Brackla 16 Years is a Highland single malt from the Royal Brackla distillery, founded in 1812. It was matured for 16 years in a selection of casks that includes Oloroso sherry, and has a deep, bright amber colour.
The nose is rich, with nuts, caramel and light hints of citrus. The palate is velvety, with baked apple, sweet spice such as cinnamon, and a trace of dark chocolate. The finish is long, with vanilla and toasted malt.
