This is a nine-year-old Highland single malt from Royal Brackla, bottled by James Eadie for its Small Batch series. It was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2023. The label, titled King Charles In the Oak, was illustrated by James Hutcheson and refers to a historic pub once owned by James Eadie. The whisky was matured in first fill bourbon casks and re-charred hogsheads. The bourbon casks are described as adding vanilla sweetness and orchard fruit, while the re-charred wood brings structure, spice and toasted oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
