A nine-year-old Royal Brackla from the Rebels series, named The Guerilla Cask and bottled at 55.9% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a first-fill Banyuls wine cask.
The nose brings citrus, vanilla and spiced apple, with baked strudel and an orchard fruit character, followed by dry spice, paprika and almond flakes. On the palate there is candied orange and lemon peel, dried peach and apricot, red grapes, white chocolate, pink grapefruit and raisins, with cereal notes and crisp apple. The strudel note returns in the finish.
