This is a 21-year-old blended Scotch whisky at 40%, in a 70cl bottle. It is the sixth release in the Royal Salute Polo Collection and the first finished entirely in first-fill American rye and bourbon casks. Master Blender Sandy Hyslop created it for Chivas Brothers, and it comes in a pink porcelain flagon inspired by the Art Deco architecture of Miami. It was released in 2024.
On the nose are pear, honey blossom and vanilla, with white chocolate, marzipan and a lift of cinnamon. The palate brings apricot and pear candy over coconut, milk chocolate and lemon. The finish is sweet and silky, like spice cake.
