Royal Salute 21 Year Old Richard Quinn Edition II is a blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Richard Quinn created it with Royal Salute Master Blender Sandy Hyslop during an experimental blending session at Strathisla Distillery in Scotland.
They hand-selected whiskies from Braeval, Strathisla and Caperdonich distilleries to make a rich, fruity blend with hints of spice and soft smoke.
The nose offers mango, banana, vanilla fudge, cinnamon and roasted chestnuts. On the palate come strawberry jam, pear, peaches and honey blossom, with oak spice and a little sweet smoke, and the finish carries a lingering whisper of smoke.
