Royal Salute 21 Year Old The Richard Quinn Edition II Orange Roses is a 21 year old blended Scotch whisky, the second collaboration between Royal Salute and British designer Richard Quinn. Master blender Sandy Hyslop and Quinn created the blend together at Strathisla Distillery in Speyside. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl porcelain flagon carrying Quinn's orange roses motif.
The nose offers exotic fruits such as mango and banana, with vanilla fudge, cinnamon and roasted chestnuts. The palate brings strawberry jam, pear, peaches, honey blossom, chocolate chip and oak spices, with a wisp of sweet smoke. The finish is smooth and complex, with a little smoke lingering.
