A 21 year old blended Scotch from Royal Salute, released as a limited edition for the second year of its collaboration with British designer Richard Quinn.
The blend was created by Royal Salute Master Blender Sandy Hyslop together with Richard Quinn at Strathisla distillery in Scotland, using hand-selected Scotch whiskies. It is built around rich fruit, with hints of spice and gentle smoke.
The nose offers mango and banana, vanilla fudge, cinnamon and a little roasted chestnut. The palate brings strawberry jam, pear, peach and honey blossom, with chocolate chip, oak spice and a wisp of sweet smoke. The finish is smooth, with a whisper of smoke.
