Royal Salute The Ruby Flagon is a blended Scotch whisky aged for 21 years in oak and bottled at 40% abv in a 70cl porcelain flagon. Each bottle is numbered.
The Flagon was first launched on 2 June 1953 as a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II on her coronation day. The name comes from the 21-gun royal salute fired in respect of dignitaries.
The flagons come in ruby, emerald and sapphire, colours inspired by the stones set in the coronation crown.
