Royal Salute 21 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky from Chivas Brothers, in a 70cl bottle. This is the Sapphire edition, one of three porcelain flasks made by Wade in sapphire blue, emerald green and ruby red, colours inspired by the jewels of the Crown Jewels.
The flask carries an image of Robert the Bruce. The name follows the tradition of the 21 gun salute given to a visiting Head of State.
It moves from lemon and tea to chocolate and coconut on the palate.
