Royal Tokaji Late Harvest 2018 Tokaj (50cl)

This is a sweet late harvest wine from the Tokaj region of Hungary, from the 2018 vintage and sold in a 500ml bottle. The grapes are left on the vine longer than usual, which concentrates their sugars and flavour. Sweetness is set against vibrant acidity. The wine is golden with amber highlights, and the aroma brings honey, apricot and orange blossom. On the palate there is dried apricot, peach and candied citrus, with honey, vanilla, warm spice and a hint of orange marmalade. The finish is long and elegant, with the sweetness lingering. It is best served chilled.
