Ruffino Prosecco is a sparkling wine made from Prosecco DOC grapes grown in the Veneto. Ruffino was founded in Tuscany in 1877 and is known for its Chianti and its sparkling wines.
It is light-bodied and crisp, with fruit and acidity in balance and fine, persistent bubbles that give a creamy yet lively texture. Serve it well chilled as an aperitif, with seafood, light pasta, fruit desserts or charcuterie, or use it as the base for a Bellini or Mimosa.
On the nose it offers golden apple, pear and white peach, with citrus blossom and honeysuckle. The finish is clean and bright, with green apple and lemon zest.
