A Fijian rum distilled in 2019 and matured for five years in selected casks that previously held coffee liqueur. Toasted coffee and cocoa notes mingle with dark caramel, molasses and a light vanilla sweetness, supported by toasted wood and delicate spices. The palate is round, with soft tannins and a coffee-chocolate finish. It can be enjoyed neat with a cube of ice or used in cocktails where a roasted, warm character is wanted. Natural pairings include chocolate desserts, coffee desserts and aged cheeses.
