Rum Grand Arôme Lontan Savanna (70cl)

A dark rum from Savanna, produced on Réunion, a French island in the Indian Ocean. It is made from prolonged fermentation of sugar cane juice, drawing on the volcanic terroir of the island. Ageing in French oak barrels adds complexity, with a warm, lingering finish. It suits neat tasting or as a base for classic cocktails such as Ti' Punch. On the nose it opens with vanilla, sweet spices and a surprising minerality. The palate shows molasses, ripe fruit and a touch of smoke, balanced by depth and structure.
