Rum Great House Distillery Edition 2023 - Hampden Estate (70cl)

A Jamaican rum from Hampden Estate, made using local sugar cane varieties and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. It is aged with care and shows an intense, vibrant aroma with clove, black pepper, ripe tropical fruit, vanilla and a light smoky note. On the palate it is full and enveloping, balancing sweetness and alcoholic liveliness, with a persistent finish of caramel and exotic wood. It can be enjoyed neat or in refined cocktails that highlight its spicy depth.
