This is a Jamaican rum aged for five years in oak casks, then finished in casks that previously held Oloroso from Jerez. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The rum itself is robust, aromatic and spiced. The sherry casks soften it, adding a rounded, vinous character with a touch of raisin.
On the nose there are intense raisins, cinnamon, sweet spices, aromatic herbs and fine woods. The palate opens soft and sweet, with a broad, round body, and it closes on harmonious spice.
