A Venezuelan rum bottled for Rum Nation's 25th anniversary, in a decanter. It comes from a selection of casks from one of Venezuela's best-known rum producers.
The rum is made from molasses, distilled in a column still and aged six years in used ex-bourbon casks in the tropical climate.
The nose offers roasted almonds, nougat, chocolate and candied orange peel, with a clear note of cask. The palate is rich and full, with dark chocolate, orange brittle and exotic spice. The finish is long, soft and creamy, balancing sweetness and oak.
