An overproof rum from Hampden Estate, produced in Jamaica from sugar cane molasses. Distilled in pot stills, it has an alcohol strength above 60% and an intense, vibrant character. The nose shows ripe tropical fruit, aromatic herbs and a touch of smoke, while the palate is full-bodied and rich with molasses, warm spice and a pleasant mineral savouriness. The finish is long and persistent with warmth and a complex aftertaste. It can be sipped neat or used in cocktails such as Mai Tai or Zombie.
