A Jamaican rum from Hampden Estate, made exclusively from high-quality molasses fermented by the distillery's natural method.
It is aged for eight years in American oak ex-bourbon casks. The nose shows intense mature tropical fruit, caramelised cane sugar, sweet spices and marked minerality. On the palate it is full-bodied but balanced, with soft tannic texture and a long, spicy finish.
It can be enjoyed neat or with ice, and is also suited to cocktails such as the Mai Tai or Rum Old Fashioned. Serve in a 70cl bottle.
