Russell's Reserve 10 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon (75cl, 45%)

Russell's Reserve 10 Year Old is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 45% (90 proof). It is made by Wild Turkey and named after Master Distillers Jimmy and Eddie Russell. Aged for ten years, it keeps the Wild Turkey house character of vanilla, caramel, spice and oak, in a softer and rounder form than the higher-proof Wild Turkey bottlings. The nose is vanilla, caramel, orange peel, oak and soft baking spice. On the palate come toffee, sweet vanilla, seasoned oak, light citrus and gentle rye spice, and the finish is smooth and lingering, with oak, caramel, spice and a touch of citrus.
