Russell's Reserve 10 Year Old is a bourbon made by Jimmy and Eddie Russell at Wild Turkey, bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof) in a 75cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered.
The whiskey spends ten years in heavily charred American oak barrels, the deep No. 4 'alligator' char, and the mash bill is 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley.
The nose offers vanilla, caramel, butterscotch and maple syrup with light citrus peel. The palate is medium-bodied, with caramel, toffee, vanilla, spiced oak and gentle rye spice. The finish is warm and moderately long, with oak tannins, cinnamon and clove.
