Russell's Reserve Single Barrel is a Kentucky bourbon from Wild Turkey's Russell's Reserve line. Each bottle comes from a single barrel hand-selected by the Master Distiller.
The mash bill is 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley, matured in deeply charred American oak barrels. It is bottled at 55% (110 proof) and non-chill-filtered.
The nose is caramel, toffee, vanilla and toasted oak, with cinnamon, roasted pecans, brown sugar and dried red fruit. The palate is chewy, with caramel, butter-toffee, honeyed vanilla, rye spice, espresso-tinged oak and tobacco. The finish is long and warming, with oak tannins, cinnamon and black pepper.
