Russian Standard is a vodka made in St Petersburg from winter wheat, with glacial water from the springs of Lake Ladoga. It is distilled four times and then filtered through Siberian birch charcoal.
The result is a clear, smooth spirit with a clean, fresh character. The nose is neutral but inviting, with a soft, slightly grainy note. On the palate it is gentle yet lively, with a clean finish. It suits drinking neat and chilled, or as the base of a cocktail. This is a 1 litre bottle at 40% ABV.
