Rutini Trumpeter Chardonnay

This is a Chardonnay from Rutini, made entirely from grapes grown in Tupungato with controlled irrigation and no fertiliser. The grapes are picked by hand. After fermentation the wine spends seven months in French oak, half new and half used. It is a bright, light yellow with green tints. The nose shows tropical fruit, and the palate moves to green apple with floral touches, then hints of vanilla and minerals. The finish is fresh, crisp and lasting.
