Ryujin Dragon is a Japanese whisky bottled at 40% in a 1 litre decanter sculpted in the form of a dragon, with Japanese cultural reliefs. The name nods to Ryujin, the sea-dragon deity of Japanese myth.
The whisky is aged in Japanese Mizunara oak and is unpeated, with no age statement.
The nose is delicate, with florals, vanilla and sandalwood. The palate is smooth and light, with honeyed sweetness and hints of pear and white spice. The finish is a lingering Mizunara oak spice with a touch of incense.
