Ryujin Japanese Whisky (75cl, 40%)

Ryujin Japanese Whisky is an unpeated Japanese whisky from the Kujira line, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle and finished in Mizunara oak casks. It takes its name from Ryujin, the sea-dragon deity of Japanese myth, and comes in an ornate dragon-embossed bottle. Mizunara is Japan's native oak, associated with incense-like spice, sandalwood and delicate vanilla. The nose is subtly floral, with delicate vanilla and sandalwood. The palate is light and smooth, with gentle honeyed sweetness, hints of pear and a silky texture. The finish is long, with oak spice, a whisper of white pepper and sweet incense.
