Sagamore High Rye Bourbon Straight Whiskey is a Maryland-made bourbon from Sagamore Spirit, aged six years and bottled at 59% ABV (118 proof) in a 75cl bottle. It is made with a single mash bill and triple distillation, and brings the brand's rye-forward style to bourbon.
The nose has caramel, toasted oak, vanilla, orchard fruit, brown sugar, cinnamon and warm rye spice. On the palate it is full-bodied, with caramel, turbinado sugar, baked apple, pear, toasted grain, cinnamon, oak and espresso bitterness.
The finish is long and warming, with rye spice, bitter espresso, caramel sweetness and oak.
