Sagamore Spirit Rye Barrel Select is a seven-year-old straight rye whiskey made in Maryland, bottled at 55% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The Master Distiller hand-selects each barrel, and the whiskey combines high-rye and low-rye mash bills. It is made in celebration of Maryland's long rye tradition.
On the palate, rich caramel and vanilla give way to warm cinnamon and clove, with a bold rye spice running underneath. It can be sipped neat, with a splash of water to open up the aromas, or poured over a large cube.
