Saint James Quintessence Rhum Agricole (70cl)

A rhum agricole from Saint James, produced on Martinique from fresh sugar cane juice, typical of the Martinique AOC. Artisanal fermentation and distillation are followed by long ageing in oak casks, giving aromatic complexity. On the nose there are intense aromas of freshly cut sugar cane, vanilla, sweet spices and citrus. On the palate it is full-bodied and enveloping, with dried fruit, toasted wood and a light final spice, ending in an elegant, fresh and clean persistence. It can be enjoyed neat or with a cube of ice, and also used as a base for sophisticated cocktails.
