This is a 17-year-old agricole rum from Martinique, made by Saint James exclusively from fresh sugar cane juice from historic plantations. It is aged in oak barrels. The nose opens with toasted wood, vanilla, clove, dried fruit and tobacco. On the palate it is full and harmonious, with a soft yet firm texture balancing freshness and alcoholic warmth, and a long, persistent finish recalling sweet spices and cedar.
