Sakhrani Kuri is a Japanese blended whisky with a chestnut wood finish, bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from Sakhrani, a female-led distillery in Okinawa and a new name in Japanese whisky.
The nose is roasted chestnut with a little subtle smoke. The palate is full-bodied, with a warm, smooth mouthfeel, and the finish is robust and distinctive.
