Salice Salentino Riserva DOC - Menhir Salento

A red wine from Menhir Salento. It is bright ruby red with garnet touches. The bouquet is complex, opening with forest fruits, blueberry and cherry in spirit, then delicate spicy notes of cinnamon, undergrowth and coffee, all framed by a balsamic note. On the palate it is generous in body, supported by balanced freshness and harmonious tannin, with a persistent finish recalling toasted notes. It suits mixed meat roasts, truffle and porcini dishes, and medium- to long-aged cheeses.
