Samuel Gelston's Single Malt is an Irish single malt made from 100% malted barley, triple distilled at a single distillery and matured in ex-bourbon casks. The Gelston name goes back to 1830, when merchant Samuel Gelston founded it in Belfast; the Neill family of H.J. Neill later revived it.
Golden in colour, it has a floral nose with a little malt, savoury spice and nutty chocolate. Woody spice, cassia and toasted nuts lead on the palate over burnt caramel, and the finish is sweet with marshmallow and honey.
