San Leonardo Grappa Bianca (50cl, 43%)

A white grappa from San Leonardo in a 50cl bottle, distilled from the estate's merlot and cabernet pomace. It is distilled by direct steam in small discontinuous pot stills, straight after pressing. It comes off the still at 75 degrees and is brought down to 43, chilled to 10 degrees C and filtered. It then rests in bottle for at least six months before release. It is crystal clear. The nose is intense, with fruity and vegetal shades. The palate is warm, balanced and soft, full of aroma, with a persistent finish.
