A cherry wine from San Venanzo, made in Umbria from the fermentation of visciole, small wild cherries. It has an intense red colour with violet reflections. The nose shows ripe red fruit, fresh visciole, sweet spice and a touch of damp earth. The palate is enveloping and pleasantly fresh, with a balance of sweetness and acidity. It pairs well with dark chocolate desserts and aged cheeses.
