Sandeman Quinta do Seixo Vintage Port 2019 (75cl, 19.5%)

This is a 2019 Vintage Port from Sandeman, made entirely from grapes grown at Quinta do Seixo in the Cima Corgo sub-region of the Douro. It is bottled at 19.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle. The grapes were selected and traditionally trodden in granite lagares, then matured in oak. The aromas combine wild bush, curry, pepper and ginger with red berries, black fruit, cacao and a stony note. The palate opens powerfully before lively acidity, firm tannins and red-berry detail take over, and the finish is concentrated and long.
