Sandeman White Port (75cl)

Sandeman White is a white port made from Douro grapes picked by hand at full ripeness. The wine ferments for only a short time before grape spirit is added, which sets the balance between body and aroma. On the nose it shows tropical fruit, with pineapple and mango, alongside vanilla and macadamia over a light citrus background. The palate is soft and crisp, with the natural sweetness of the grape. It works as an aperitif served cold on its own or over ice, or as the base of a long drink with a splash of tonic water and a slice of lemon.
