A Sangiovese from the Republic of San Marino, made from Sangiovese grapes. Intense ruby red, tending towards garnet with age, it has aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, with tobacco, leather and black pepper. Structured yet balanced, with well-integrated tannin and balanced acidity. Suited to Mediterranean dishes, red meat, grilled meats and aged cheeses.
