Sangiovese Colli Pesaresi Riserva Galileo

A Sangiovese from Colli Pesaresi, made by Guerrieri. It shows a deep ruby colour with lively reflections. The nose brings ripe red fruits, cherry and plum, with light spicy and earthy notes that do not overwhelm the fresh side. On the palate it is immediate yet measured, with vibrant acidity, well-integrated tannins and a softness that supports without weighing it down, plus good structure and persistence. It suits roast or braised meats, aged cheeses and traditional local dishes, served around 16-18 C, and can take a short bottle ageing.
