Sangiovese di Romagna DOC Modigliana V.Probi - Villa Papiano

An organic Sangiovese from Romagna. Clear ruby in colour, it opens with small red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, floral hints and light herbaceous notes. On the palate it shows freshness, balanced acidity and present but restrained tannins, without being aggressive. The profile is linear and recognisable. It pairs easily with pasta with sauce, cold cuts, white meats, medium-aged cheeses, mushroom dishes and grilled vegetables. Serve at moderate temperature, with a little aeration if softer profiles are desired.
