An organic Sangiovese from Romagna. It shows a clear ruby colour with garnet reflections, with aromas of ripe red fruit, cherry and plum, small dark berries and light earthy notes. On the palate it is medium-bodied, with firm but mature tannins and lively acidity that keeps it fresh. The finish is savoury and persistent, with fruity returns and a hint of spice. It suits rustic dishes, cured meats, ragù pasta and flavourful white meats; serve around 16-18°C and decant briefly if desired.
