A Sangiovese di Romagna DOC Riserva from I Calanchi with an elegant, measured profile. It is ruby red with slight garnet reflections, opening on the nose to ripe red fruit, small forest berries and lightly spicy notes, with an herbaceous undertone recalling Mediterranean scrub. The palate is balanced, supported by present but well-integrated tannins, with good body and freshness that keeps the tasting clean and smooth through to the finish. It suits grilled meats, structured sauces, aged cheeses and mushroom dishes, served around 16-18 °C.
