Sangiovese di Romagna Superiore DOC Balitore Balia di Zola (37.5cl)

A red wine from Romagna made from Sangiovese, offered in a 375 ml bottle. It has a brief period of maturation in barriques. It is intense ruby red, with garnet reflections developing with age. The nose shows ripe red fruit such as cherry and blackberry, with spice and a light trace of vanilla. On the palate it is balanced, with soft but present tannins, balanced acidity and a persistent finish of fruit and spice.
