Santi Solane Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore DOC

Solane is a Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore DOC from Santi, made from grapes grown on sunny hills. The ripasso process gives it greater structure and aromatic depth than a Valpolicella Classico. It shows an intense, deep ruby colour. On the nose there are aromas of cherry and ripe plum, enriched by spicy notes and a light touch of vanilla from wood ageing. On the palate it is enveloping, with harmonious acidity, soft tannins and a velvety structure. The ripasso process brings a full body with mature fruit, spices and a subtle cocoa finish.
