A grappa from the Poli distillery in Veneto, founded in 1898, distilled from Merlot and Cabernet pomace.
Distillation takes place in a traditional bain-marie copper still, and the grappa rests in small oak casks, giving it an amber colour with woody and spicy notes. The nose shows vanilla, dried fruit, cocoa and spice, while the palate is soft with a medium body and an elegant, balanced finish.
This pack of twelve 10cl bottles is suited to gifting or private tastings.
