Sazerac Rye Whiskey 100 Proof (1L, 50%)

Sazerac Rye is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey from Buffalo Trace Distillery, bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV) in a 1 litre bottle. It carries the line 'The One and Only New Orleans Original' and is made with the Sazerac Cocktail in mind, though it also works in an Old Fashioned or neat. The nose is baking spice, vanilla and candied citrus. The palate has bold rye spice balanced by caramel, clove and toasted oak. The finish is warm and lingering, with peppery rye and a touch of sweetness.
