Sazerac Straight Rye Whiskey is an American straight rye made at Buffalo Trace Distillery, bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The distillery began life as the Old Fire Copper (O.F.C.) Distillery. The whiskey takes its inspiration from some of the first bourbons served in the coffee houses of New Orleans in the 1800s, and is made mainly from rye.
Its flavours are described as fresh clover, vanilla, anise and pepper, with subtle candied fruit and a little liquorice.
