Scallywag is a Speyside blended malt from Douglas Laing, inspired by the family's long line of Fox Terriers. It is a marriage of aged Speyside single malts, matured mainly in Spanish sherry casks. The label names sherry butts and vanilla'd bourbon hogsheads. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle and produced in small batches. Expect rich dark fruits, chocolate and spice, with vanilla arriving late.
